Has anyone ever encapsulated a camera in clear epoxy?

Ive seen a few donw and wonder what those companies are using for a clear
epoxy to seal the camera and other parts in a solid block.

I suppose you could cast them in solid acrylic. I think you can buy that stuff for making homemade paperweights and so forth.

But you should fin a way so the resin keep clear from the the optical sensor/lens path .Also keep in mind eventual dilatation that could damage components.
