Pricey ($42/gal) but you could coat a lot of coil housings. Wonder if it would be effective -- maybe two separated layers?

I think to avoid highly conductive shields like foil which probably reduce depth. Don't MD companies now use conductive paint etc for that reason?

The only way to make a shield, is to use a conductive material, which could certainly be a paint. The floor covering in your link has a very high resistance, in the range 100M to 1G ohms per square.
It is intended to prevent the build up of static charges that could damage electronic components during assembly by providing a high resistance leakage path for those charges. Unfortunately, as a result, it will not act as a shield.

Yeah, certainly not as RF shield, I was thinking more as static charge shield, but probably too high resistance to be best for that too. Oh well... always looking for off-the-shelf stuff that might be economical... appreciate the feedback.
