Can anybody help me on the specifics of the double D coil of the Tesoro Golden Sabre. Your help would be greatly appreciated . Kees

Hi:

You can try this: 130-135 turns of .25-.35mm enamelled wire, 20 cm diameter.

I found this in an old email on this forum, not sure how accurate it is. Another post gave coencentric specs... they were:

TX coil: 100 turns, 0.5mm diameter wire, 200 mm diameter coil
RX coil: 170 turns, 0.5mm wire, 80mm coil

Tried to take an inductance reading from the tesoro coils that I have, but no luck with my inexpensive LCR meter

Thanks BG for your info . I will try everything out to be sure . Right now I have a set of oval coils 130 windings with 0.5 mm wire . It is working but I try something better . Thanks again for your message . Kees
