why in the search head original tesoro there is 4 wire and the ground is different between coil tx and rx?
while in the circuit of tesoro silver sabre and eldorado there is at ground the coil tx and rx?

Far as I know, all the Tesoros use 2 wires for TX (one ground) and 2 wires for RX. The RX wires go to a differential amplifier, so neither wire is connected to ground.

Some Tesoros (e.g., Lobo) use a 4-pin connector, others use a 5-pin connector, but only 4 pins are used.

We own a Tesoro Umax (my daughters)and I use the Lobo Super Traq with an eliptical coil.
(1). Apart from the coil connections into the control box housing are these coils compatible with the other detector?
(2). Is the coil on my Lobo totally diferent to that of the Umax?
(3). Which pin goes to which wire in the Tx coil and Rx coil on the coil connector plug.
(4). Coil rsistance, what are the coil resistance for both Tx coil and the Rx coil.....
