My partner and I have in our possession an instrument

that is completely contrary to physical law. This is

a plastic box with an ordinary compass mounted on top,

and some type of metal secured inside the box. There

are magnets attached to the metal, but no internal or

external power is present. If the box is rotated so

that the compass needle is oriented to north, and

then continued to be rotated in any direction,if

there is any ferrous anomaly present, the compass

needle will leave north and point to the anomaly! I

do not know how this can be possible, but I can

assure you it does happen. We have found veins in

Mexico that assayed 100 & 50 gpt gold, we have found

old abandoned Spanish mines, we have found copper

mines, we have located placer deposits in Nevada, and

I don't know how this thing works. We have tried to

locate the man who made this instrument, to no avail.

As far as we can determine, we have the only one in

existance. It obviously is not for sale, but we would

like to know the theory behind it's function. Does

anyone have any ideas? Supposedly, and I do not know

the truth of this, it was designed to locate shipwreck

anomalies from a boat. Any suggestions would be

appreciated. This is not a dowsing device, as anyone

can use it.

Hi Bill

Lets have some photos of it both from the outtside aswell as inside. That could maybe help somebody to solve for you how it works. Have you tryed to replicate it ?

Mark, the unit is in Arizona, and I am in Nevada at

the present time; but I will get photos. The

interior, as I stated in my post, is just a piece

of metal that resembles a silvery, rough Tootsie

Roll. We understand that magnets are inside the

metal, which have small wires protruding out of it.

I was asked how we could find gold with a "magnetic"

device, since gold is non-ferrous. Question was not

from a prospector, obviously. You must remember

that "iron" is the mother of gold. The unit did not

detect the gold, it detected the ferrous minerals

that accompany gold veins and some placer deposits.
