Hi,
I am looking for a chip ED 9 8406 50999, 18 pins / Supertex /. I understood that it has been obsolete for over a year. I need information about this part, like block diagram, pin definition, electrical characteristics, pin configuration, features, general description.
Anyone know of such a chip ?
I need your help.

Never heard of "Supertex", is that the chip company? Also, the "8406" part of the number looks like the lot date (Feb 1984), not part of the part number. Need more info, what's the chip used for?

The Supertex is the chip company: www.supertex.com. I ask them for a help, but they send me a new CD catalog. There is not information about this chip. The chip is mount in an old hinting device. I must repair it, but I don’t know what kind of IC is the chip. I'm interesting in more information like block diagram, pin definition, electrical characteristics, pin configuration, features, general description.

The IC you are looking for is most likely ED 9 (just ED 9). It is programmable Encoder/Decoder. I have found it in Supertex's catalogue from 1992. I can send you a xerox copy (need postal address) or email you gif files instantly if your mailbox beares huge files.
