I am going to try to find the 100 drum for the Bren gun..I know it's packed away...but as the old bren used a 30 Mag...it's rare to have one with the drum...drum costs 5 times as much as the gun also!!

Great pic.  Thanks for sharing.  Sounds like the ones with the drum must be very very rare if you're having problems finding even a picture of it on the internet.

Try going to:
                         "Shotgun News"
A monthly Large format, Gun Selling/parts/ammo, etc, Magazine of anything that shoots!
One of their subscribers/sellers will more than likely have it !
I & a friend, once bought a Swedish, 20mm Semiauto Anti tank gun ... Complete with all acessories from a dealer!
That was back in the "Good Old Days" !    Grin

Just recently, I have purchased 1000 rds, each, of .30 cal tracer & AP bullets.....   Tongue

Well, we went back to Tiger Lake last weekend. We found the depris field where the B-17 crashed. I got a copy of the accident report and it says that after the crash, the tail was sticking up in the air so the Army Air Corps went back there and blew up the fuselage. They did a good job. Our sidescan sonar found wreckage scattered over 350 yards. None of the images was recognizable as part of a plane. We bouyed a couple big pieces and made a dive. The water was 68 degrees but the visibility was zero! You couldn't see your hand in front of your face! My buddies got spooked and we never found anything. I brought my underwater camera but you can't take pictures in zero viz. Here's a picture of my buddies on the boat.

The blue color of the water is misleading. I think it's a reflection of the sky. Here's a pic of one of the divers in the water. Notice you can't see below his neck. Oh well, it's off to another lake.

Too bad the visibility was so bad for you.  Maybe the next lake will be better for you.  Thanks for posting.
