I can't figure it out! Huh?

Can anyone explain to me "WHY!"
No one took me up on my offer to salvage, the "Piper Cub" !
Here's an airplane sitting out in the desert, FREE!
AND!
No one wanted to make the effort ! Shocked

I can't figure it out !

There was/is nothing illegal about this !
The right side wing is broken off, the left side wing is twisted ..
The rudder has damage, as does the landing gear ...
The prop is broken ... as is part(s) of the tail section ...
Basicly, a "Fixer", "upper 'er" for sure ...
But!
It would have been a "Freebie" ...
(bECAUSE THERE WAS no! rESPONSE, I'll be hauling the plane out, & keeping it ! for myself)
