      Hi all.
Another one of my finds wile out in New England, about the size of a BIC Lighter found about 7 to 10 inches in the ground under a small megalith like structure.
What caught my attention was the way the structure was shaped almost like an obelisk,
I plan on returning there as soon as I get a good metal detector.

    HI,
I have tried but it seams that university’s are to busy, if you see my introduction I have tried many times.
Many times on this site I read about how everything that is found is either in Europe or Middle East but there is tone of stuff from Northern New England to the Deep South.

Well I can give one reason no university or museum will take you serious is the way you relay the info of your finds. First they want measurements in millimeter not size of a BIC lighter. They want front and back pictures. They need to know what material the artifact is made of. With out that info they or we can help you.
Now for some facts the so call artifact is a modern reproduction of a Olmec face used in tourist trinkets from Mexico I have seen dozens of them. The so called megalith like structure is a natural rock formation any geology text book will tell you that.
Someone is playing a trick on you or you are trying to play one on us either way its not working.

TriDitty:
If this is on the up and up, I have no doubt that more than a couple of archaeologists would love to look into that site.

Myself, I would honestly not tell them until I have had a great chance of checking it out.  Maybe that isn''t right but it's just how I am.  I would be methodically careful but I would still have to spend a full day or two checking things out for myself.

As for any government laws about ancient finds and all, I am not exactly caring that much about what our government thinks these days.  I have never heard of our government taking finds unless they were found in a illegal area.

So, are they made of gold?  There are so many little things that you should notice in a site like that.  If this is the real thing then you have most likely missed a bunch of little things that would indicate the type of society must have either made this formation or just worshiped there.

  Good luck with that.

  Hi.
One of the other things that stand out is that with in about 150 to 250 yards there is another formation that stands out but it’s located in the water.
If you know anything about New England most of the discovery found around here is made by just your average person a good example is Dighton Rock located about half an hour drive from this spot.
