Anyone know what type coin this is, found in Afghanistan looks copper 1/2 size of a dime

It could be "Byzantine" if you can find a web page with coinage from that era you may see something like yours.......HH...Johnnn

A clearer photo of both sides would be good.

It's NOT Persian.

They did not use figure heads on coins.

Need a better see of the Script.

It is not Islamic Persian.   It could be pre-Islamic Persian (pre-644 AD), since the prohibition against human figures is Islamic.

Thanks I will try there I have posted some better photos and a photo of another coin I found in the same area it is Hephthalite 475-576 AD so I am assuming this coin is from the same time period
