Hi all, this years haul of old coins, no value to them, but the enjoyment of the hunt was priceless.

Hi John, yep  keeping the coins like that makes life easier.
The pic shows the loose pages from a coin album i recieved as a gift.
Inside the album cover is a website adress, i had a quick look at the site, and it seems to be a global company based in germany.

Hi Sue, the ones with the holes are chinese, lots of chinese diggers were here during the 1850's gold rush.
Apparently the chinese weren't popular, they often worked abandoned claims, and prospered through sheer hard work causing resentment amongst the europeans.
