Pendants

(1/1)

Sue:
I have a thing for rocks with holes in them and picked these up while detecting. I didn't give them much thought and put them with other rocks I've collected. A couple of nights ago I saw a black and white picture of one similar to them in a book and it was called a pendant. I think they were used for necklaces. I'm still not sure about the larger one. It's hollowed out almost like the bowl of a pipe on one side. Sue

Sue:
The pendants are rock with what seems to be a natural polish. Lots of flooding going on where I found them now, so who knows what else might get exposed or buried under lots of silt. Sue
