yup I am at it again, I picked this one up for 10. bucks frame and all . so I even have the museum archivist at the seven gables researching this one.

Well there you have it. Great source Gd.
Jimby, looks like you have an original intaglio printing there. depending on the artist's popularity and typical number of prints pulled, could be a real value. However it looks like the floating (tape) bled through and cardboard out-gassing has done a little damage though. All in all it looks like a keeper. Is there a watermark on the paper? The likelihood is that the print is on 100% rag paper and the blemishes could be diminished by a pro.

Hey PopTop the paper does have a watermark, and the print is now being stored on an acid free backing unattached inside a plastic sleeve for stuff of this nature safe and secure out of any sunlight or dampness. so any info or links on this guy or even if anyone sees another of this print I sure would be grateful. and as always thanks for lookink and happy treasure hunting.  (the thrill is in finding subjects you like and then finding out they may be rare.) ::) 8)Jimby
