I don't even know what to call this object - I'm guessing it's manmade, but nature can do some interesting things. I've had it for long time and dropped it last night. Fell flat, but cracked into 2 pieces later.

Oops, sorry about the break. What did it look like inside, texture color, is it metal? Looks to be artificial.

Ok my 2 cents!
If it is stone  it apears to be a tool for braiding or weaving cording

Larger holes for thumb and index finger
Smaller holes for cording

Could be wrong But I believe I'v seen something similar used in Medieval times
Not sure what book though!

Yes, it is stone. I put it here because the holes are so perfectly round and I thought maybe they'd been drilled.
