Christian:

You seem to have an interest in Japanese artifacts as well as Japanese culture. Are you familiar with the movies made by the late Akira Kurosawa who produced masterpieces such as "The Seven Samurai" - "Yojimbo" and many others.

Hello Steve,

well I really like Akira Kurosawa movies. I think he was a master director and his movies will probably still be oustanding in another 100 years!

Unfortunately most modern Asian made movies are not very appealing to me.

Best wishes,

Christian

I certainly agree with you that most modern Japanese movies are not appealing but just about any movie by Kurosawa is. I had the good fortune of watching "The Seven Samurai" when I was a little kid- on PBS. Have been fascinated with his movies ever since.
