First, you have to have it certified as a meteorite. From the photo, it looks like slag from a smelting furnace. Or a meteorite. It's not possible to decide based on a photograph. Most universities have a science department who can help you. They'll have to slice off a small portion of it (very small) and have a look inside to be certain.

Here is some Info you can check out.    I've used this more then a few time and only found one Real meteorite out of 20 Maybes.

I think what you have there is a Peace of Shrapnel from the War.

Go back and check item 10 in the summary of that url you checked.  All those bubbles  that show up on the surface of your pictured find argue against it being a meteorite---while it's still possible, it is highly unusual for meteorites to have those sort of outgassing bubbles.
