just want to share an experience, i was just taught how to use a 2 pair (4 piece) of cassava stalk cut at 12 inch each in length use as detector, with 2 person to hold a pair of them and facing together and meeting (2 pair) each other end of the cassava stalk and if there's a find it move either left or right then when it hit the mark it forms an X. somebody recheck it with a some kind of rod detector and it was confirmed too. i was amazed i'm not sure what it detects and still don't understand why and how it works. did anybody tried this? i am a newbie, and lived here in mandug, davao city, philippines. please kindly reply to my email at : chris_padi@yahoo.com

thanks.

It is very effective in detecting underground water. It's function is very similar to a branch or stick of guava tree (fresh not dry). The water underground attracts the water inside it, simple as that.
