Thanks for the comments, Hardluck.... I still do not know whether I should pity you or react...
Anyway, have a pleasant day and you too relax.

Karby as Hardluck pointed out something ain't right.

First using the measurements you provided there is no way they can weight 6.2-kg,

Second We have a very respected member here who is a licensed gold dealer here and the Philippines if he has not contacted you he must think little of your gold.

Third As point out Why would you try to sale gold bars over the internet to treasure hunter who even the new's ones know more about gold then you ever will.

Seldom,
1) Checked again the measurement, they are correct, and i don't know, but they weigh 6.2kgs.
2) Yes, we do not expect to sell in the net, but were curious what reaction we will get in a treasure hunting site.  We are already seriously in talks with an entity, and hopefully, this will be consummated soon.  We did not planned to get you all worked out.  But keep up the good work on guarding against scams.
3) We are accidental treasure hunters and accidental gold experts, as those bars were accidentally found in our construction site.  But, now we may have to be experts in treasure hunting as the find has led to an adjacent area which seems to have more.  The entrance though has a cobweb of piano wires from floor to ceiling that goes on for five/six meters.  We suspect the wires are connected to bombs.  We are not sure what is behind this well laid and intricate cobweb as we cannot see through the darkness even if we use a powerful light, and we cannot stand the very bad smell coming out of this underground cave.  Thunting.com does not seem to have anything re these things.  But chow, nice talking to you guys, moving on from here.

If You and your "gold-bars" r for real (not just a pic), try to go "underground".
Perfectly legal, endorsed by international treaties. Used to do some "underground work" back in Hawaii.
What it means is, if on the international open market, buyer can not meet seller, or vice verso, it goes under-ground.
Anyone who can do or satisfy said proposition, get a go to lead to fulfillment. Of course, for those in the know, to dedicate their time, you need an indorsed letter by an approved attorney, court or agency. Than U Google some, or post to "Underground Workers"as is, international traders, and bingo, they will get U the right contacts, globally

Marcos did not obtain all his gold legally, as by today's standards...and there is still some of it going around. Not a bad thing per say, just hard to sell to a banker Cry
If that's the case I would melt it down into nuggets (easy nuggets , just drip the molten into ice water)
and than pitch it to jewelers...they probably also pay you the best price for it  Cheesy

Yes. You go ahead and do that "easy" thing and let me know when you get released from hospital.

Hello All

Hahahahha.......GD I think there is some Aussie humor rubbing off on you. Grin

Yes its true it can be a very quick way to hospital if you do not know what you are doing.

Surprising enough it can be done.

But is very slow and very dangerous. It takes a steady hand and nerves of steel.I used to take granulated samples of molten copper from the furnace with a steel sample ladle and slowly drip them in a bucket of water.Used to get tiny shaped droplets about the size of pea or under.

You can even granulate molten metal on an industrial scale an electric arc furnace used granulate copper slag. Molten metal slowly dripped into water will granulate. however spill too much and get peppered with molten bullets of hot metal as water will turn to instant steam. Granulation if done properly is controlled explosions in very small tiny amounts. Pour too much and it like a bomb going off.

I was lucky I had a good teacher.

But would not recommend it.

Hardluck

karby, your gold bar is from mindanao and 100 percent FAKE. you'r attempting to scam people here. if you'r in mindanao you only put you'r life in danger. death by death squad is the funishment in mindanao on selling fake gold. there will be no mercy if they tracked down you. if that fake gold is from your friend or relatives better to report that on police station to save your life. remember if the death squad will snipped you they will strike anytime anywhere to get you.
