X, that's a technicality at best.   The Welrod was NOT issued to and used by front line troops.   It was designed and built for clandestine forces such as the British S.O.E., the American O.S.S, and various resistance forces within occupied territory.   Even then, it was used primarily when stealth was required, as in assassinations.   Also, since it was made in both 9mm and .32 ACP versions, American or American-supported forces would most likely have used the .32 version since it WAS a common US round of the time.

Id like to know what happened to ur site from the original posting until now if possible. Also what was the reason that u chose that place to dig. Did u have map, Old person who saw something during the war, sign or just because good friend suggest it??
