Hello All

I am interested hearing about peoples experences Detecting in south Australia.

SA has an interesting history as it was settled from the start by settlers not convicts. There must be numerous abandoned homesteads to search, old gold feilds. And interesting shipwrecks along its coast to explore. 

AS I recalled there is an alleged treasure buried on a beach on Kangaroo Island.

Has any one had some interesting experiences in that part of the world.

 I know of some old gold fields. I havn't detected or been there myself but think it could be worth while. 
 Also think there may have been some bush ranger activity once apon a time, and a few ghost towns
 around that could be a good prospect.
