Found these 2 sites while doing some research for places to detect and thought I would post the links. I am sure that the other states have similar sites for referencing. Using them can be a good source for finding old town maps from yesteryear especially if you know the county and parish of the place u want maps for. Only problem I have had so far with them is being able to save the maps as viewing them through the java script for checking out town layout in detail, is a pain in the proverbial. Still, on the maps I have seen, it does show the location of a lot of the places within the towns and surrounding areas. Hope you all find them useful, Z.
