Go Up Go Down

This morning i got up later and as the tide would be out midday and as i have the lurgy i decided to have a lightweight machine for a search.
When i got to the beach i saw a JCB digger moving the shingle about the beach tops so i started there and found a few quid after that i moved to the area i normally do and searched the low tide area but there was nothing there and i got bored so went to do the tops there . I dont think the Deus is easy like the E.Trac but it does find the stuff amongst the trash and i was finding quite a lot of coins there, although the tones and numbers are not as easy to understand i managed to get ?15.78p and a U.S. dime and pier token and the middle section of a 1 Euro coin this time.
Also with this machine its harder to find a lot of the coins due to them coming up like pull tabs, 5p coins come in at 58 almost all the time so they were easy but the 10p 20p 50p coins tend to be in the late 60's or early 70's and the pull tabs are from 61 to 71. Gold rings are in that region too.

I will go back with the X.Terra on sunday morning if i go.

Nice! Looks like you did fairly well.

What's your overall impression of the Deus? Good? Bad? Worthy?

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

For a less trashy beach , alright but the beach i do you need lots of clear tones that you can hear and the Deus is all the same but different volume i think.Except for iron thats a buzz.
Its alright though , just harder. Anyway Detecnicks has my large coil in now and i will have that next friday, next week when i can get there.
If the Deus had the ET tones and the 2 sets of number i would be a total fan but i will keep it though.

The only reasons i dont get a larger coil for the ET are 1) its as heavy as hell (coil) and 2) i still think there is a new machine coming out in the next year and thats why i am saving all my beach finds for.

Thanks for your opinions. I'm a fan of the machine based on advertising but always like the field opinions. It looks like you are well on your way towards saving for your next machine.
