Go Up Go Down

Today at 3.15am i looked out of the window and saw that it was spitting with rain, i knew that it would rain and if it was not raining at the time i would have got up immediately but as it was raining i knew no one else would be out so delayed an hour.
I got to the beach with my X.Terra 705 at 5am and it was starting to rain harder but once i start i will carry on till i have finished.
It started as i thought a bit slow, finding very little till i got near to the closed clubs along the seafront and it all started coming together.
I was again pulling coins out that have been left by others for weeks, after a while i saw another detectorist with an Explorer SE but he was searching the tidal area and not having any luck due to the between 2 and 11 feet of shingle that is in that area now. Roll on the storms Smiley .
The time drifted by and the rain got harder and by the time i finished my Garrett pinpointer had packed up through water getting in ( it o.k. now) and i had a silver plated ring with a spoon attached !, another plated? ring with a stone and £36.90p .
All the dirty coins i had were deep in the areas that should have been caned silly by others but they are using machines with discrim to high, also the Terra seems to find coins amongst the non ferrous trash with ease. An amazing machine !

The weather is going to be wet for a few days so i will give it a miss till the end of next week when i am off for two weeks from the 24th.

Sure is. They wear the spoon inside the hand and reverse it to use it.

I am on the beach in the morning with the E.Trac this time , hopefully the weather will be dry . The Garrett probe is burgered so has to go back to Garrett for a sorting .
