Go Up Go Down

It has been a warm week and i have been busy detecting my (i wish) best local beach , i start at 5 am each day.
On thursday i had my second best cash haul so far ?59.17p and a U.S. dime and a silver bracelet .
{alt}
On friday it was not as good which i expected and only got ?28.33p and a silver pendent and U.S. cent.
{alt}

Today i had a better day and found ?39.67p and a silver ring and a ring with a Stag's head on.
?10 of the total was a ?10 note that i saw while i was detecting.
{alt}
I am going again on sunday and monday before the weather starts cooling off.

Wow! looks like you have your own private piggy bank there. I've got a Brighton Beach here in Brooklyn. I can only hope it's half as productive as yours

That reindeer ring is interesting. Any markings at all in it?

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

pay off with a good nick of determination like yours.

Great coins there, and while I'm not familiar with the English denominations let alone the pre-decimal vintage denominations, they sure have great looks to them with some great heft & size.

May I ask what the coins are in the 1st photo along the top row?
They seem to have inscriptions on the outer edge, and are quite thick...

Congrats,
Jim
