Yesterday i had to work till 12.20am this morning and decided that no matter how tired i was going to the beach at first light, i took the X.Terra 705 as the only area worth doing at the moment is the beach tops.
I got up at 3.40am and went straight to the beach 10 miles away, when i got there it was starting to get light , there were 2 others on the beach and there were a number of club goers there too lying around on the beach.
The beach was quite clean for a sunday morning , i thought it would be a poor day and too start it was but within an hour or so i was again picking out the coins where the others had missed them and that was all over the place, the 705 is an incredible machine being able to find the coins in the non ferrous rubbish and the remnants of all the bonfires that have been lit on the beach over the years.
The E.Trac just nulls on that kind of thing.
I dont know where i got the energy from but i stayed till 10.30am and at the end i had found a U.S. quarter dollar, 3 Euro 40 cents , a pier ride token , a big ear ring , a silver ring and 2 bits of silver , a ping pong ball by sight and £54.79p .
I was only expecting £20 or so.
Was going tomorrow but i have other things to do now and have to wait for my new Razorback coil for the TDI to come at last.
Will try that out on a sandy beach in a week or so.
I might buy the Terra a Nel coil too, been hearing that they are good coils.
Will be back on the beach on thursday.
