Sorry badly worded.

I meant have you found anything interesting away from the beaches (not beach hunting)?

Now I'm jealous, lucky bugger.

They are wonderful finds of lost history.

If only they could talk about what they have been used for and by who... Hmmm

Well done, its these kinds of finds that keep us all going strong...  Clapp

Rich N,

I just showed my wife and she has asked me to kindly ask, if you can remember how far down these coins where.

She loves this kind of thing and we are looking forward to bringing our detectors over.

Do you have any restrictions over there on being able to keep such finds...?

Keep 1 silver or gold coin over 300 years old , 2 or more are treasure . Any thing under 300 years you can keep , mostly.

Many thanks, given us something nice to dream about tonight before our huge move over the coming next two days.

Not looking forward to it, but will be glad when its all over.

Cheers and good hunting.

Bravo! Wow! I am impressed with your success. Without asking specifically where you are detecting, is it one of the larger resort areas like Blackpool or Scarborough where there is an immense amount of traffic on the beach?  How about the dates on the coins. Do any of them (the ones from  the beach)  have some age?
My favorite of all that you pictured is the stater - I've always wanted to find one of those. Can't wait to see the stuff you find in the upcoming months.
