Go Up Go Down

Last friday 23, 24,25th i went to the beach with the 705 , on the friday i was mostly along but there was not a large amount to find. Had a good day though and it was better than the saturday 24th which was surprisingly quiet as thats usually the best day on that beach.
On those 2 days i had £18.27p , a 1967 Penny and a U.S. Quarter Dollar.
{alt}
On the the saturday i had £15.50p , a Pier ride token and a U.S. Dime.
{alt}
On the sunday i decided to get to the beach very early so got there at 4.30am and found that someone else was detecting aswell which did not surprise me in the slightest but i looked at the way he detects and thought he is not going to find much the way he detects so got stuck in, it was a warm day on saturday and the clubs had not long chucked out . As i detected i saw a lot of rubbish all over the beach and that is a good sign ,all the drunk behaviour and shagging Cheesy is great for finding lots on the beach.
This time i found £44.02p , a 20 Euro cent and 2 more Pier ride tokens. Late that day i went back and found another £10.64p and another Pier ride token but no picture of that only the earlier finds.
{alt}
On wednesday the 28th i went back with the E.Trac to test a new programme to see if i could sort the nulling i get with my old programme on nails and iron and found that i have sorted that now and it work a treat on the wet where all the nails have been scattered from burnt deck chairs and pallet boards that the youths put on bonfires at night ! What a beach Cheesy Crazy .
I had a very good morning and started a 6am and buy the time i finished had £30.56p and 2 foreign coins , an old silver ear ring and my second gold of the year, a Russian style 3 connected ring with three shades of gold , its only 9k and 4 grammes but i found it in a place that the old programme would not find it, in amongst the iron nails and crap.

Apart from the above two pictures this is what i have had this year so far.
{alt}
The screen is up to you but i suggest very open and put settings 2 tone Ferrous sounds auto sensitivity +3 and noise cancel 1 or 2 and near max everything else.
Iron comes in low tone and all non ferrous is high tone so all you do is check the numbers and dig what you want.
Will be out with the Terra 705 on sunday unless there is a dig worth while going too. Thinking about it it will be the beach.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Hey Richard,

Long time it's been mate!
Your dedication shows through good & just what is possible when one just decides to get out there and make a point of searching.

The ol' saying is:
That nothing good comes easy, and that is very true.

It takes some effort and hard work even to find lost treasures. Rich, you have really shown that metal detecting and getting out there pays off.

Thanks & Well done Rich,
Smiley
Jim
