There are a bunch of Yamashita yammering yokels I would send there for treasure. In fact, didn't old Yamashita say he buried his gold bars on Chinese beaches? It's all in the secret signs on rocks. Don't tell anyone. It'll be our little secret.

surely you dont need to take a detector there, its where most of the ones on ebay are manufactured, just buy a 1000 to sell on ebay and keep one to field test there !!!

Ruddy hell where did I leave my Beach Umbrella ?

                             There are a couple of things you would have to contend with detecting on the beaches there .
                            Firstly the beaches are probably never deserted so you would never be alone ,  Anything that you found would always say made in China,    and say you did find anything of value you would probably get mugged before you got off the beach, If you did survive all of the above the secrete police would arrest you for being some sort of spy .

Frenchfry, with two pages of posts in a topic it's just impossible to tell what your question refers to. Rather than just ask a question, use the Quote option instead of the Quick Reply box. That way the question is asked of the right person and everyone can understand what you are discussing. You did the same thing twice in the Detector Pro thread and your comments are lost because nobody knows who you were addressing.

worked as a fitter welder,fitting out solar cell plants,and as for geting muged..well more chances of that happening in the western world,never meat such a nice race of people,the chinease are great,honest and hard working,and its not all third world as some people think,yes I was on a work visa,3month right up to the last working day,mind you it was 6 days a week 12 to 14hours a day,and the cash was great,I loved it and I would go back tomorrow...mike

China can be a fabulous place to visit.  But it's also on the "We hate Americans" list of countries, so use discretion because you probably dont blend in with the locals very well! Cool

Hot doggamighty!!! That's more folks than I've ever seen at a beach in my life--Makes me wanna fire up the old family plane and fly over there and scoop up fifty rings and hour-ha! But they'd probably capture the plane and throw me and my hunting buddy in jail and We'd be branded as a spy or something-ha! So here I stay in the USA and wishing I could hit the beaches of China for the treasure hunt of a lifetime--HA!!!!!  Could you Imagine the stuff you could find over there?Huh?Huh? Who knows? Maybe they have thousands of detectorists hitting that beach every day-Ha! Great Detecting Pray
