C-Scope CS4PI + Maplins N87KA + Garrett Euuro Ace & ProPointer + MineLab Safari

Go Up Go Down

Well, having worked my regular beach with my C-Scope CS4PI and my EuroAce; I grew tired of digging deep holes for scrap with the CS4PI and the EuroAce hated moving on to wet sand! I eventually invested in a MineLab Safari and commenced to rework the same sections of beach with surprising results.

When I used the Safari on pasture the darned thing drove me mad with its R2D2 sounds and I was within a hairs breadth of giving up, but upon moving to my regular beach things started to improve. The Safari seems to work well on dry sand with the coin and relic mode changed to all metals and cross saved. Sensitivity set up on a manual setting of 20 presented no problems until I moved half a mile down the beach.

I'm slowly starting to winkle out more finds from in between all the WWII scrap. No treasure yet; but fingers crossed!  Wink
