Rob it used to be one of my favorite spots also . I spent many a vacation in that area . I was not retired then so I had to go back to my job in California  (  Yuba City ) . Now things have changed and I can spend as much time as I wish . I am bussy in Florida for the first two ( 3 months ) vacations in order to clean up what I found there .   After this is done , I will be back looking for the Nehalem wreck .  Cornelius

             You think you might be back up this way around June?, If theres anything I can do let me know either here on the forum or You can send me a private message. As for me I cannot dive due to a medical illness that would make it unsafe for me as well as a diving partner. But im good at lots of other things.,,,,Rob

Rob as I mentioned I will be busy in Florida . There is a wreck I have to empty but I have to be quite sneeky about it otherwise there will be a multitude of interested people bothering me .  Too bad it has to be done this way but hey ... if I am open with it and want to cooperate with archaeologists I will loose everything .              I understand completely, its a shame when others do all the work, and the govt officals take it for all the glory. I hope your current project goes well and wish you all the best

Are we getting any closet to solving this mistery?  I'm at Ocean Shores today to metal detect.  I have also done some scuba diving in my time with water proof gear.  Let me know if I can help.
