Nice idea, saw a guy with a plastic dry scoop on youtube. Best part was he could quickly detect if the target was still in the hole or in the scoop.

I made one out of a 4" PVC pipe, I sawed the bottom out and put a sieve and on the back i put a courser sieve

New to the boards so sorry if this has been posted somewhere before.

Confused by the price they were charging for a plastic scoop with holes in it($25 where I am from) I decided to try and make my own.
While thinking of what every day item I could use to build one, (milk jugs etc, and cudos to the OP, great idea) I found myself in a farming

for only $4, looked exactly like the sand scoops they where selling for $25, minus
the holes. Go figure.

I bought a couple, but have yet to convert them, will post pics when I get to it.
