Go Up Go Down

Hey Forum
Eastern Australia just experienced another East coast Low, fantastic for churning up the beaches, but extremely devastating on our coastal dwellers (hoping you guys and girls ducked for cover), sand erosion is getting worse IMO.
It started up in Queensland and petered out in mid NSW, Sydney/Illawarra got the last of it and turned over the beach topography enough to see some great old PD's hitting the scoop in my areas.
After 3 days post churn, Bagged $200 plus, 3 rings (2 silver, one junk) and some memorable scenes.
Only use the CTX3030 now on the hard sand (retiring the mighty E-Trac after 5 years use), can't speak highly enough of the new chap's speed, clarity at depth and new PINPOINT.
I think I buggered the pinpoint button on my E-Trac, I shape targets using pinpoint so always use it, (helps avoid digging deep cans/trash etc..)
Noted the greater spread of tones with the CTX v E-Trac and happier for it, anyway this is not a comparison of detectors but am very impressed with the new offering.
If you like, I'll take a shot of my latest finds (not real exciting...just coins) let me know
Cheers
Lazza

We ALWAYS like Show and Tell.....so post the "boring" pics.   The rest of us need to drool a little.
