Go Up Go Down

On May 6, Todd Lindemood and I hunted Manza Beach.  Todd had just received his New White's MD in the mail, and was eager to try it out.  There are a lot of beaches on the island, but we chose Manza because it was close to both of us. Also it was one of the nice resort beaches, where the rooms of the resort start at $500 a night.  However, I am learning that the expense of the resort hasn't much to do with what is found on the beaches.

We met at a convenience store at 11:00PM and searched for about three hours.  We both found about 1,000 yen in change (around $10) but I found my first WWII relic, a Japanese Arisa rifle bullet.  It was at the edge of the beach and the tree-line and nearly 2 feet deep.

If there are any other treasure hunters here on the island, let me know.

Stay Well

RD

Looks like a beautiful place.   I can understand why the hunting would be good (even without the obvious WWII relic possibilities)
