This is a milfoil and aquatic weeds topic.

I do plenty of Hooka diving and metal detecting and find myself almost tied up with milfoil and lake weeds trying to get to the lost treasure... any ideas?

Rent a hippo. They're like underwater goats. Turn it loose for a week or so and the place should be cleared out.

I'm joking, of course, but there's not much you can do. Conservation laws don't allow it. I once tried a semi-rigid air line which was easier to keep from tangling but the weeds are still going to plague you.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

There is no such law up here in the Okanagan Canada.

That there are no laws to decimate natural weeds in Canada would surprise me. Are you sure?

They use some sort of Aquatic Herbicide here in the lakes from time to time.

With out doing they get so choked up you can't do much in them even with a boat.

Do they do that there?
