I haven't been in Bitburg for over 30 years, but I still love the area.   My Dad spent a little over a year at a small village about midway between Bitburg and K-Town a couple of years ago doing research for a book he wants to write.

Yep, the countryside is nice there, isn?t it  Great But, 36 years away, and the last ten of those in Germany again, I thought it was time I might try the UK again. It?s changed a lot in 36 years though, so I?ll have to try it for a year first and decide then LOL  Funny Crazy Idiot I?m going crazy at the moment though

Wrecks are deep there, and a lot of people have died on them. I retired early because I have 4 different types of arthritis and arthritus, probably caused by micro bubbles, at least my Orthopedic Surgeon says my joints are all eaten away and look like sponges  Grin Cheesy So, I thought it might be about time to stop diving, although I might do some recreational, say down to 50 - 60 metres, just to keep my hand in, but no more deep stuff, can?t afford the docs bills.

I hope to, although it will take me a couple of months before I get round to it, as I?ll have to make a couple of trips to get all my stuff out of storage, and it?s an 8,5 hour boat trip, plus about 8-10 hour drive (At least) each way. Plus the waiting and loading/unloading times, and sorting everything into it?s relevant place. Then I have to buy and build a shed too, and install a burglar system and lights, so enough to do still.
