Go Up Go Down

6.5 hours out on a bitter cold beach yesterday.
Man was it cold on the fingers!  Fight  Fight

All our finds had been in the sand for many many years,
and our clad total came to - ?6:27 = $10:07.  Rider Rider Rider

I never thought I could get so excited about a relic.  Shocked Shocked
It's a brass "On War Service" badge with blue enamel background,
but the bulk of the enamel is missing although there are a few specks of it left.
The pin at the rear is missing too.
We're still working on cleaning it up,
but here is a picture I found on the net.
I'm chuffed rotten to have found it.
My very first historical relic in 4 years n 5 months.
 Great Great

pretty neat find, Ian and Eileen.   Thanks for the history lesson, too (that's one of the things I like about this hobby)
