A few recent Spanish shipwreck related finds from the Treasure Coast of Florida including a bronze ship spike (nail), an encrusted bronze hinge, copper hull sheeting with square holes and a Spanish silver one reale.

They were found on the lower beach opposite a Spanish 1715 fleet shipwreck which makes these finds 1715 or earlier.
