What you need then it’s an underwater proton magnetometer, as well as an underwater metal detector.
BUT that’s a BIG but you also need several thousand dollars for it.

how deep can the tesoro sand shark go under water???

It will go down to a depth of 30 meters but I know for a fact mine has been deeper with no problems. Tesoro is probably playing it safe.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

That's three atmospheric pressure (atm) or about 3Kg per Square cm of pressure. My deepest dive was 75m when we were looking for the Mouri in Cape town near Robin island, if I could have had a detector at the time I'm sure that I could have found some nice objects. So I hear you loud and clear LostViking but your bottom time is very limited unless you use something else than NCA

Hi Lost Viking, I would suggest you do some research on lost wrecks in your area 1st off. Then when you go diving you may have a better chance on locating some good items or at least being close to where a wreck may be. Also You could ask local fishermen, they may be able to help you out.
