Go Up Go Down

Got a call the other day for a lost ring close to a beach (Skaha lake).  The first day, no luck 5 hours later.. never thought I would be mad at finding twoonies and loonies...  The ring was more sentimental value than gold.  It was the wedding ring of his father who recently passed away, and was worth more to him than anything else we would know.  With this info, I was not planning on giving up too easily.

The next day I switched heads on the SeaHunter II to the oversized oval thinking I can get a deeper signal and more area coverage.... good choice!  My wife gave me the ten minute warning at 730pm since we had been there since 4pm... Beep Beeeeep... Cheese n Rice that better not be another pull-tab!... Sugar Honey Ice- Tea.. a frigin bottle cap.. put my MD to the ground to cover the area again .. just to make sure.. Beep Beeeeeep.. what the?...dig again.. deeper... I'm running out of air here... digg again!.. pull up the scoop.. there it sat...thin gold band!

Phoned this guy up at 10 pm last night and he was ecstatic!

Every ring has a story and the second that ring is gone.. so is the story!

Congratulations.   Always love hearing when a member finds a ring....and even more when they find it and return it.

Yeah this guy's Dad passed away when he was 5 and his mother gave him the ring when he turned 19 and he has had it for 8-9 years... very tough thing to loose!

Nice job ! If it weren't for you , that guy would have lost that connection to his Father forever.
