Has anyone converted from a S shaft to a straight shaft on the Excalibur?  If so did you buy or build yourself? The S shaft is short and makes my back hurt after a few hours. The Straight shaft on my Sovereign GT is better balanced and longer allowing detecting all day. thanks.

good diggin...................randy

Hi Minelab50 !   I also got myself Excalibur II for beach and water hunting but after few hours couldnt lift my arm anymore ! Badly balanced ! - currently I am doing some research on the net on straight shafts and planning to built one myself . Will post results as soon as I finish it ! Good luck - Simon.
