I shrunk it down about 4 times and it still would not work. I guess it is about 2 mb, and it takes a lot more to to shrink it down to less than 500 bites. It worked ok on the email didn't it?

What kind of picture is it? There are other kinds of limits besides size. For example, a BMP is not allowed. Make sure your file type is on the allowed list.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

enjoyed reading it, but I'm more proud that you got it published back then and your structure and writing ability is great. You have a good flair for writing, and today it might pay you back more than the $17 token you made back then.

You should stick with writing these types of things for the current day Th'ing mags, if there are any that are still being published today!  Great

Jim

I thank you all for your kind comments and for getting it on this site. There was a picture in the article also, of a tray full of some of the rings and medals, but you all know what that would look like. I know there are still a couple mags on TH being printed, but I just don't have the time to write at this time in my life. I am retired now Wink, and have way more work to do than I had 30 years ago. I live alone in a split level house on an acre of land, and there is always something to do. I don't even get anywhere as much time to detect as I did 10 years ago. It brings me to the most important rule about TH, if you don't get out and detect, you won't find anything. Good huntin, John
