Hello everyone.  Any suggestions on a good detector for fresh and salt water?  I have always used White's but I am open to other brands if there is a better choice other than BeachHunter 300.

I like the BHID 300 - especially for fresh water.  I hunted with PI machines for years and I like them also - but not for fresh water - only salt with low trash/iron.  I'm older now and bhid finds stuff about as deep as I care to dig anymore.  I've read good stuff about others - but haven't used them - so I can't elaborate.  Good luck with whatever you do!!
