In the 80s, I was stationed USAF at Patrick AFB.   Satelite Beach.

Never seen anything coming out of the Cocoa Beach site.

Every thing was coming from the south.

There was some stuff found up there but not while I was there.

Looking at the Manual, You dont have auto track.

Your going to have to balance between your sense and Discrim.

Start with no Descrim and low Sense.

Bump up your sense until it starts to talk.

You may need to jump up on the Descim until it will handle the salts and minerals. Wise

I am new at decting. I have a Bounty Hunter Quick Drawll first dector, & a new Minelab Explorerll I bought right before the beach trip. I used both at the Myterl beach, bounty hunter picks up all minerals in wet sand can adjust some. Found several coins no rings. Some coins Found with bounty hunter was 12" or so deep. It was off season beach was picked almost clean by locals. Found Quarters 18" deep or deeper with minelab, some was under water where surf was still traped in by sand bar.
