hi all looking for a beach MD would like to know whats more important, Ground Balancing, Frequencies or Target ID Segments. I have a Ace 250 looking at a F2, Delta 4000 or a Pioneer 505. I know there isn't much of a difference between them so I'm looking for some input thanks

ps or none of the above

NY in my opinion the 250 is better then the F2, Delta 4000 or Pioneer 505 on the beach and wet sand. If you are going to get a new detector you need to move up a model of two not sideways The F4 is a kick butt detector a member Bug is cleaning up with his over in England. You may also want to look at the Tesoro line the have some good machines

NY, I have my prefered machines, but they all are good
if you want a meter or not
and what do you want the meter to tell you

My self I like the fact of having a ground meter because it will help you decide on your
gain settings and it will give you other info too,

If it's for the beach to the most part, Go with something that works and can get wet.

PI would be the ticket but a Garret AT Pro would work and Is a Formidable Land machine too.

If you are not going in the water, just paddling then the Sovereign is about the best all rounder and it is a killer on the beach
apart from PI machines nothing will touch it and with the 15" WOT Coil it is a Legend
either the sovereign Elite or the later sovereign GT thats a Beast

Well you have made a good choice I have owned one and it is a fantastic all rounder and cheep to run
and It has some special tricks it can do that very few machines can do, weldone and good luck
