Has anyone heard of a Bounty Hunter Outback? The Big 5 has them for $99 and claims the list price is $199. I can't find anything on line about this machine. I am new to the hobby and I am looking for a good beginner model for coins, jewelry and artifacts.

I too am attempting to research this model, but haven't been able to find anything difinitive, even on the Bounty Hunter website. The link above seems to be broken.

Thanks!

Thanks Jentien I removed the dead link. Now back to the problem.

Bounty Hunter markets about 12 different detectors under 30 plus names its a pain to figure out whats up half the time. The outback is the same as the Quick Draw and the RS 3300 I think

Hello Monterey 63 . Yes I heard of the Outback a beginner machine , but I recommend you wait for the Bounty Hunter Elite 2200 it usually goes on sale at Big5 for $139. us dollars , at least once a month !!! It is better than the Outback and I read good reviews on it as an intermediate machine .

HH..........Eugene
