Safety first. Laws vary regarding legal/proper disposal but one thing never varies. You can never recover a lost life, limb or digit due to unstable ammunition or ordnance going off.

I probably wouldnt even remove it and call the police in and let them remove it, bomb squad, that old stuff can be very unstable and as mentioned your life is worth more the unsafe ammo

Small Arms ammo is little threat .  I just stash them in the collection box I have.     Over there in the UK that may get you in trouble?


Bombs and Live Artillery is a major thing.      Report them.
