I've had the Sunray Probe on my Minelab SE and thought it to be quite good. As it connects to your detector you will get the audio through your headphones. However it is rather costy.

Regards,

Christian

Hey hey hey! Got my Pinpointer coming! The boss( my wife) Wink told me to go ahead and order one, she's watched me chase some signals/coins around, .. My Garrett Propointer is to be in my hands on Tuesday 4-21! I can't tell you how many holes I've given up on, but I'm going back and try and find the one's I think had a good solid signal. I've gotten pretty good(I think) with pinpointing the spot with my detector, but this will be so cool in speeding up finding those elusive signals! Cheesy

I got it! Tried it out at a park I hunted before. Found more coins( $2.09)...faster! This thing is so cool! My first hole I got 2 dimes, 2 nickels and 6 pennies, in the same hole! Each scan after, dig the spot, flipped the plug and if it was there, the pointer zoomed right in on it. If not, it helped locate in the hole, with more digging. I was even able to find a penny when the sun went down. not total darkness, but very low light. The propointer has a small led light to see in the dirt. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I used to use the bullseye pin pointer,,,until i got the Garrett pro pointer WOW ! What a difference ! with a fresh battery in it 3 to 4 inch hits will register (sorry but the bullseye was only good for a half inch). So much time will be saved and the size of your hole will be smaller.JUST REMEMBER ! the pro pointer also detects off the side besides it's tip..

Ok I have followed this post and here is  why some  people need a PP ,,First do not plan on walking into a park with a spade if you do not use a  PP   ,,You will scare the park people ........For those that do not understand why one would use a  PP ,,,It is easy ,,when hunting in park;s it is best to leave no sign's you were detecting ,,When I hunt park's all i take is a metaldetector,,,  screwdriver, and PP ,,The PP speed's my time up when I make a one inch plug with my screwdriver ,,next the PP is in the plug boom i have my target ,,,Each target is retrieved within 17 second's and i am on my way swinging the coil  ,,,When i hunt in the wood's i bring a spade and yes i also carry the probe sometime's it is nice to have for small object's that elude the eye's ,The garret PP i have saw in action it is great
