Yep!    That's the ticket .

Minelab are the best of the best but you pay dearly for them.

A 5000 will cost you about the same in $.

Ohhhhhhhh God !!!!  Shocked

Do you think it worth the money over the TDI Pro? I mean, it will give me more treasures by far, or the difference between them is something like 10% ?

Not to me!   LOL

I would never pay that kind of money.

Go to the Reviews and read up on them.

 Cool

Have a look for a dual coil PI machine if you're looking for gold. Hope that you will have your new baby soon and that the both of you will have a great time together.

All the best
Xavier

Thank you Xavier.

By the way, when you say double coil you mean a Double D coil or a butterfly type coil ?

Does anybody know an internet store where i could buy a TDI Pro in a good price and import it ? Cause there is not a White's dealer here.

Thank you

Some PI detector have two coils just like a VLF detector. I have yet to build one to be able to give you more true info on how it works but from what I have read about it,it is more sensitive to gold (True or not I don't know) any way's to place you in the picture you would have an outside coil then an inner coil. The outside coil being the TX coil (Pulse) the inner (RX) receiver coil, so what will happen is that the TX coil is switched on then off and then the RX coil will listen, well actually it listens all the time but we determine when we want to listen to it. Hence it is turned on at a very specific time and that's where all the timing stuff comes in. I made a pin-pointer (PI) when I first did it, it could detect a coin at 10mm then I changed the timing and now it detects the same coin at 70mm the objective is 100mm (Just for the hell of doing it)  Smiley

All the best
Xavier

Your pin pointer would make a nice walking stick for me. Did you by chance post it in DYI?
