For anyone looking for a deal on their first detector, this seems to be pretty good. I found this from and old post but don't remember what forum? You put this in your cart at $109 and then click on their 40% coupon and it will drop the price for ya. If you can't figure out, leave a reply and I'll try to help you out.

I didn't order it yet because I have a Hobby Lobby near me and am gonna go see if they have any in stock, will be $12 less which will be awesome if they do!

I never used this site but I believe they are a good store. I'll know in the morning when I head down there for sure but here is link for anyone that wants to order online:

I hope this is ok place to put post, couldn't find a better post spot unless I overlooked a spot for good priced stuff?

The BH tracker is a very good machine. I have an earlier version of it, but it cost $250 way back when. Still have it and use it occasionally but not so much now that I have my Tesoro. That is a good price. Hobby Lobby is a big chain so you can trust them. The Tracker is easy to learn and easy to use. Like I always tell everyone, a detector is only as good as the operator, so learn that machine inside and out. Once you know what it can do, you use it according to what you are looking for. However, don't use this machine to go looking for small gold nuggets in a stream bed. Not what it was designed for. There is a small 5 inch coil available for it that will allow you to detect in tight places.

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.
