Don't Laugh!   I use dollar store ear buds.

Homefire, I'm not laughing, I use ones I buy at garage sales for a quarter to 50 cents each. I got a nice pair to use with my Ace 250 that had a volume control built in. Those cost me 50 cents. We gotta save where we can.

Well to each their own I guess
Myself I like to have one ear open to my surroundings. Some will have a two cup headphone and just cock one of the cups up off one of the ears.As for the ear buds I don't like the way they feel in my ear.
I bought killer B's "stinger' a one cup headphone with volume control.Had them for a year or so  and I find them very comfortable.Cost me like 85.00$ but I use them all the time copaired to my cheapo headsets.
If you have good hearing and you want to keep one ear open the one cup phones are something to consider.
It all depends on what your wanting to spend, what style you want and the most important" at least to me" how comfortable they are on your ears and head.

Here is a photo of the headphones I use. They are very light weight and comfortable. Unlike the cup type, they do not block out the surrounding sounds. They have a volume control and work great with my Ace 250.

I have the ace 250 and I use a pair of sony earbudz. They were about $20, and have a volume control which the 250 does not. I like to keep one ear open so i just put one in and go for it. I have been really happy with them.
